The selection of PET packaging, 100% recycled & recyclable, was not United Pepper’s first choice. PLA [Polylactic acid] a maize based polymer was without a shadow of doubt the most ecologically minded choice , however its technical limitations (distortion from 40C) steered United Pepper towards another responsible option.

Through this example United Pepper illustrates the evolution of its concept, working with available resources & technologies.

United Pepper always communicates the ecological impact of a product on all of its packaging

This impact is measured by :
•The ease with which components can be separated for recycling,
•The percentage of natural materials that make up the product.

All United Pepper products are RoHS certified/compliant ("the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment").
